2017 Thomas Bros Golden Crow Award

BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

The 2017 Golden Crow Award recognises and celebrates business excellence in the Wagga Wagga region. The winner of the 2017 Thomas Bros Golden Crow Award is selected from all nominations received over all over the 15 categories. The business may not have won the category they entered, however they have demonstrated a broad spectrum of excellence across all or most of the categories.

GOLDEN CROW AWARD CATEGORY CRITERIA  

  • The business must be established or operational for three or more years 
  • The business must have demonstrated that they have employed several staff over three or more years, demonstrating that they have enhanced employment opportunities within the community 
  • The business must show they have enhanced our local economy by sourcing goods and services from the Wagga Wagga area 
  • The business must demonstrate they have promoted the Wagga Wagga brand outside of the Wagga Wagga local government area

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  • All applications remain strictly confidential  
  • Only businesses residing in the Wagga Wagga region are eligible to enter the 2017 Golden Crow Awards 
  • In areas with an existing Local Chamber Awards program the local LCC partner may align some, or all, categories to coincide with the NSW Business Chamber Awards Program Local.
  • Chamber Alliance members cannot enter directly into the NSW Business Chamber Awards for those aligned categories at a regional level  
  • All criteria must be addressed for the application to be eligible for consideration  
  • The application must be submitted by a company officer or authorised employee of the organisation entering. This person must be available to verify and provide additional information during the judging process if requested. If this person is going to be unavailable during the judging process it is essential to nominate a secondary contact who would be able to verify information 
  • Previous winners are required to demonstrate improvements implemented since winning their award  
  • Local Chamber Award winners are eligible to progress to the NSW Business Chamber Regional Awards program as a Regional finalists subject to complying with the NSW 
  • Business Chambers Business Award program, Terms and Conditions.  
  • NSW Business Chamber State and Regional Councillors are ineligible to proceed to the 
  • NSW Business Chamber regional awards if they win at a local level. 
  • The Wagga Wagga Business Chamber reserve the right to create or delete categories depending on entries received  
  • Entry is submitted via the NSW Business Chamber Business Awards online entry system for the purposes of judging.
